Family Self-Sufficiency
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program is an employment-focused program.
While in the FSS program, you will work closely with an FSS Coordinator to assess your strengths and barriers and establish goals that support you toward economic/financial self-sufficiency.
One of the greatest benefits of the FSS Program is an escrow savings account. As your income increases from work earnings, a portion of your rent will go into an interest-earning escrow savings account. When you accomplish your goals within the period of your FSS agreement, you will graduate and receive the money in your escrow savings account with earned interest!
