College Edge Program

Higher Education Literacy Professionals

H.E.L.P. (Higher Education Literacy Professionals) offers a College Edge Program which is a comprehensive series of college-readiness workshops. The program includes SAT test preparation, college tours, and private coaching designed to guide students and families through the college application process. The goal of the program is 100% college placement, and so far we have met that goal. College Edge meets at the NHA Learning Center (20 West Ave, Norwalk, CT 06854) generally on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Email Literacy Pros for more information.

College Edge also offers a Homework HELP Program at the Norwalk Public Library Sono branch that pairs tutors with elementary, middle, and high school students to promote academic excellence and positive work habits. Tutors are selected to support, nurture, and guide students. They provide structured one-on-one attention, encouragement, and advice, as well as facilitate highly meaningful conversations between students regarding academic excellence.
